Dog Training

I have a very open-minded approach to dog training, where one way of training is not always the right way for another, this is because all dogs are individuals and it's a case of looking at the dog in front of me to see what is the best approach for that dog. My training will give long-lasting results not just a quick fix, ensuring training is fun for everyone, safe, pain and fear-free.

Dog training walk

Training consultation

In this 1-2-1 private session, I carry out a comprehensive evaluation, I assess your dog’s breed-specific individual training and behavioural needs, my methods are bespoke to your dog and I tackle the problems head-on to help find a solution quickly and easily.

Duration: 1 hour 15 mins                        Cost: £55

Follow-up training sessions

Most cases can not be fixed in one session, so follow-up sessions are definitely advised, we can progress with our current training plan or adjust or tweak anything that isn’t working. Let’s try and get your dog to one of the most trained dogs in the park, we don’t need perfection, ideally, we want you to enjoy going out with your dog as much as they do.

Duration: 1 hour                         Cost: £45

Loose lead training walks

Loose lead training walks

Polite leash manners make walks more enjoyable. Our loose lead training walks focus on reinforcing positive leash behaviours using reward-based techniques. Before joining the walk, an individual one-to-one training session is required for me to tailor the experience to your dog's specific needs. I will collect your dog from your home and provide a convenient, personalised training session dedicated to improving overall walking etiquette.

Cost: starting at £30

A positive & reward-based approach to training

As much as we think our dogs will just grow out of pulling on the lead, barking at other dogs and not coming back when called. The reality is they won’t and it's our job to help them overcome this.  Training covers essential aspects like:

  • Loose lead walking

  • Recall

  • Sit down & stay

  • Leave it

  • Diet & nutrition

  • Fun gun dog session

  • Thresholds
